This is the first question all parents rightly ask themselves. Since ANSES's alert in 2010 about the presence of formamide in certain foam puzzle mats, vigilance regarding the composition of baby play mats has become essential.

The Treelys play mat is made from high-density XPE foam (cross-linked polyethylene), a material known for its chemical stability. Unlike entry-level EVA foam puzzle mats, our non-toxic baby mat is BPA-free, phthalate-free, formamide-free, PVC-free, and heavy metal-free.

Each Treelys mat is tested and certified by two recognized independent laboratories: Intertek (reports SHAH01732402 and SHAH01750389) and SGS. Result for regulated substances: ND — Not Detected.

Is the 150 × 200 cm size really suitable for my interior?

This is one of the big differences between a classic baby playmat and an XXL playmat. Free movement experts recommend a minimum of 120 × 120 cm to allow baby to move without restriction. With 3 m² of play surface, the large Treelys playmat offers the equivalent space of a double bed.
