1. How the recall system works in France

2. Major recalls affecting babies in 2025-2026
Infant formula (December 2025 - February 2026): massive preventive recalls by Nestlé (Guigoz and Nidal) and Lactalis (Blédina, Gallia). Reason: traces of cereulide in arachidonic acid (ARA)-rich oil from a Chinese supplier. Cereulide can cause vomiting. The DGS issued a DGS-Urgent bulletin n°2026-01 on January 23, 2026. No medically established link to death or serious illness.
